Wild Kratts
The Wild Kratts is a PBS-Kids program that follows brothers Chris and Martin Kratt, two wildlife biologists, on their adventure to preserve/investigate ecosystems and endangered species. Although the brothers are equipped with special technology to take on various animals’ traits, these adventures don’t always go as smoothly as planned. Zach Varmitech, an evil inventor, Donita Donata, an animal fashion designer, and Chef Gourmand, a professional chef, like to interfere with the Kratts' work. These villains represent different threats to wildlife and their habitats: animal experimentation, animal-based designers, and overfishing/over-hunting. This cartoon does an excellent job at educating children on the ecological impact of human activities and natural events on the environment.
